A body has been found following a fire at a rural property, police said.
Grampian Fire and Rescue Service and police have been dealing with the incident at the house in Rhynie, Aberdeenshire, since Friday.
The large blaze was reported around 4.30pm on Friday and was put out by 7.30pm after officers used four appliances to extinguish it.
Police searches of the property continued over the weekend and they have said a body has been discovered. No identification has yet been made.
Firefighters left the scene on Saturday afternoon after the property was made safe.
The service said a full investigation into the cause of the fire was expected to begin on Monday.
