Cash-stuffed bra saves woman's life

A BRAZILIAN woman has survived being shot because her bra was stuffed with cash.

The incident took place on Saturday when 58-year-old Ivonete Pereira was taking a bus to her summer home in Salvador in the north east of the country when two thieves boarded the bus and shot her.

She had hid $69 USD of coiled notes in her left bra cup, which was struck by a stray bullet as the bus was attacked by two thieves.
