Man saves life and gets married on same day

A courageous groom dived into a pool and saved a drowning girl just hours before his wedding day.

Todd Sweeney, an ex Royal Navy diver was sitting on his hotel balcony in Aya Napa, Cyprus when he noticed a body at the bottom of the pool.

Suited and booted for his wedding, brave Todd dived into the pool fully clothed to save the lifeless 15-year-old who was not breathing.

After performing resuscitation, Todd managed to bring the girl back to life who later fully recovered in hospital.

Todd then had just two hours to dry his suit and get to his wedding.
