Taxi driver choked by passenger crashes into church and finds prisoners inside

The bizarre incident unfolded when a taxi driver who was being choked by his passenger, crashed into the River Jordan Holy Tabernacle Church, in Mount Vernon, New York.

The terrified driver lost control of the car and ploughed into the church and the passenger who was trying to rob the driver fled the scene.

When police arrived, the incident became even stranger when they discovered five people locked inside the church.

Police confirmed four adults and a three-year-old girl were inside the church and were investigating why they were there.
