Woman jailed for selling 'goth kittens' online

A WOMAN has been jailed for six months after selling "goth kittens" on the internet.

Holly Crawford (35) from Pennsylvania was convicted of animal cruelty for piercing the ears and necks of three black kittens and then selling them online.

The woman who was forced to shut her dog grooming business after an animal charity alerted the police.

The accused said she "thought it was neat" to sell the tiny pierced felines on the internet.

Crawford alleged that she started piercing the kittens after she took in a stray kitten which she named "Snarley Monster" and started to pierce it.
