SUSAN Boyle has signed up the man who turned U2 into multi-millionaires as her manager.
Susan and her family have appointed Ossie Kilkenny to mastermind her career after finding fame on Britain’s Got Talent. The former accountant has also managed the affairs of The Verve, Oasis and Van Morrison.
The deal means Simon Cowell’s Syco record label, which Susan is signed to, will shortly release her highly anticipated debut album.
Ossie will now manage and organise her finances to ensure that every deal she signs is worth it.
Susan (48) is said to be back to her old self after spending time in the Priory and is currently on the Britain’s Got Talent 20-date tour, which kicked off on Friday.
Susan has spent the last few days rehearsing before the tour’s first date tomorrow night in Birmingham.
The touring schedule winds up in Bournemouth on July 5 and Susan is expected to sing “I Dreamed a Dream” once again.
Arriving at Heathrow airport on Monday after a brief stay at a secret location in Scotland over the weekend – where she was joined by beloved cat Pebbles – Susan smiled and waved at photographers, looking like her usual jolly self.
She said: “I feel fantastic. I want to take on the world. I’ve got my sleeves up ready.”
Susan’s brother Gerry insisted his sister was back to normal. “She’s much happier,” he said. “She seems a lot more like herself.
“Things are becoming clearer for her now. She’s now beginning to believe that, ‘yes indeed, I will be a singer’.”
Meanwhile, it has been reported Susan has been offered £30,000 to sing at Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher’s wedding anniversary.
She was asked to perform at the celebrity couple’s Hollywood party in September, although it is not yet certain if she has accepted.
It’s the second high-profile invitation the singer has received in as many weeks, after US President Barak Obama asked her to sing for him at the White House.
