PLANS to revitalise the centres of Broxburn and Uphall have been unveiled.
Funding for town centre improvements has been secured through the Scottish Government Town Centre Regeneration Fund.
West Lothian was recently given a total of £2.345 million from the Scottish Government’s Town Centre Regeneration Fund, with West Lothian Council contributing a further £700,000.
And Broxburn and Uphall have been awarded £467,264 from the overall package, to make major improvements to the area.
The upgrading of the streetscape within the core retail areas of both towns forms a major part of the investment.
Improvements to retail and business shop fronts together with improved signage will also be developed.
