WEST Lothian Council has introduced a new town bus service in Armadale.
The half-hourly service, which runs from Monday to Friday between 9am and 3pm, gives residents improved access to local facilities.
E & M Horsburgh have been awarded the contract by the council, who are providing a annual subsidy of £36,400 as part of a commitment to improve town bus services.
Timetables for the new Armadale town service are available from Council Information Service centres.
“We are pleased the new Armadale town bus service has now taken to the road,” said Executive councillor for development and transport Martyn Day. “It is one of a range of new and improved bus services which have been introduced across West Lothian for the benefit of the travelling public.”
