MID Calder Primary School has triumphed over hundreds of schools in Scotland to win a design competition
The school had to design a poster for the Euro quiz along with an invitation to send out to representatives attending the 10th anniversary of the Scottish Parliament on July 1.
The poster will be displayed at the final of the Euro quiz at the Scottish Parliament on May 11 and the school's representatives will be presented with a class prize while individual prizes will go to designers Alex Kerley, Ellie Souness and Eilidh Govan.
The competition was set up to run in parallel with the Euro quiz and was open to all schools in Scotland who where participating in the quiz.
Organised by the Scottish European Educational Trust, in partnership with the Scottish Parliament and Standard Life, the competition marks the 10th Anniversary of the Scottish Parliament.
Executive councillor for culture and leisure, Jim Walker, said: "This is fantastic news for Mid Calder Primary School and on behalf of the council I would like to congratulate the school and designers.”
