LIVINGSTON stunner Ashley Brown said she was proud of what she had achieved after making it down to the final four hopefuls on Britain’s Next Top Model.
The 20-year-old was eliminated in Monday night’s episode of the Living TV programme after surviving 11 weeks on the show.
And despite not being crowned Britain’s next catwalk queen the Eliburn girl says the show was an amazing experience and vowed to continue her modelling career.
Ashley told the Courier: “I am really pleased with myself and so happy at what I achieved throughout the show.
“The show organisers started off with 20 contestants and I got down to the final four which was amazing.
“I had such a great time on the show. Getting to travel to places such as Iceland and Argentina was a real eye opener for me.
“I really appreciated the judges keeping me in the show to allow me to experience going to these countries.
“But the best thing I will take away from the show is meeting all the girls — I’ve made some friends for life.”
Although the mother-of-two said she loved her time on the show she said she would never work on a reality TV show again.
Ashley joked: “You would not get me back on a reality show not even for £5 million.
“People who watch the show take things far too serious and get really wrapped up in it.
“There have been some nasty things written on the net about me which isn’t nice and this was upsetting.
“However, ut I would consider doing other work on television if it came up.”
And the model, who is the current Miss West Lothian, had the full backing of her family while she was on the show.
“Both my parents have been really supportive of me and are so proud of what I achieved.
“I think my dad is the proudest man in the world at what I have achieved.
“He has all the shows on DVD which he is going to keep for me and the clippings from the Courier in which I have been featured.”
Now Ashley plans to continue her modelling career while looking after children Alysha, three, and 11-month-old Jay.
She added: “I have just signed up with a model agency and they hope to get me a lot of work doing high fashion.
“It’s what I really want to do as I enjoy it. Not many people do a job they like.
“Another perk is it’s not a nine to five job and it means I can spend more time with my kids.
“They’re the reason I’ve taken on these roles in the first place.”
