Councillor’s Surgeries: Councillor Peter Johnston's surgeries are on Tuesday evenings at 5.30p.m. at Forestbank Community Education Centre and on Wednesday evenings at Toronto Primary School at 6pm.

Harrysmuir Bowling Club: The Bingo at Harrysmuir Bowling Club is on Saturday evenings, eyes down at 8pm.

West Lothian Indoor Bowling Club: Scotland v Guernsey Test Match is on Saturday, November 8 and Sunday, November 9.

Ladywell Community Tennis Club: The winner of the Boy's event was Euan Craig and the runner up was Luke Coghill with the Girl's event being won by Stephanie Brown and Adele Craig was the runner up. The next event is in the spring.

This month's committee meeting is on Friday, October 24 at 7.30pm at Inveralmond Community High School and the club's Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 6 at 6.30pm, also at Inveralmond.

Christmas Fayre: Braid House Day Centre, Labrador Avenue, Howden are having a Christmas Fayre on Saturday, November 15 from 10am-noon. There will be various stalls including Craft, Home Baking, Tombola, Bric-a-Brac, Santa's Grotto, Teas and Coffees etc.

Harrysmuir After School Club: Harrysmuir After School Club are having their Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, October 28 2008 at 6.15pm in Room 279 at Inveralmond Community High School.
