THE West Lothian Courier has been inundated with messages of support for singing sensation Susan Boyle - here's a selection of them.

Susan Boyle, you have undoubtedly received millions of congratulatory e-mails.  I hope you will read mine.  Thank God for people like you who really show the world that every single person on earth is worth getting to know and being given a chance in life.  I, like millions of others, have been moved to tears by your performance.  I truly hope you make a career with your talent and I hope to see you perform in America one day soon.  You go, girl!  (P.S.  I can't sing like you and I'm even older, but I am very happy that you are representing those of us who most people tend to ignore - until they get to know us.)

I had to make an attempt to send a message to your wonderful Susan Boyle. I live in the United States and recently saw her debut on Britain's Got Talent. It's spreading rapidly through the US. She is a sweet lady and what an amazing talent. What a shame she was not discovered earlier but thank goodness she has been now. Everyone who has seen it wants to see her perform more! I was quite angry when I watched the first few minutes of the show. I thought it pathetic that grown adults would treat someone so poorly as they did on that show but she sure showed them and turned it around!
I hope you can get this message to Susan to tell her we are rooting for her in the U.S.A. and cannot wait to see more of her performances over here!! She deserves all the best and I hope she gets it.

Shalom West Lothian Courier, I have watched Susan Boyle a hundred times and each time she just captivates me, just AWESOME!  When is the next performance? We are not getting that information in the USA.

Dear Susan, I am married to a Canadian - ex-Scot - who has many relatives in Glasgow and Bathgate.  We have been so impressed with your performance on the Britain's Got Talent program. But I especially wanted you to know, as you mentioned your cat, Pebbles - I am a cat proud person - and our two cats, one five years old and the other one and one-half years old have been sitting beside me while I listened to your voice on two songs over the computer and they have both been just as mesmerized as I.  You are very talented and we are all impressed with your skill.
