TO mark the 150th anniversary of Sherlock Holmes author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, members of the public will be able to cast a vote for their favourite Scottish author at West Lothian libraries.
Voting ends on October 31 and voting slips will be available from all libraries.
The top 20 Scottish authors will be announced on St Andrew’s day with the winning author receiving West Lothian Libraries’ Scot Scriever Award.
Local libraries have new displays promoting Scottish literature as well as a list of Scottish authors to help you choose your next book.
