Your messages of support for Susan Boyle

A sign in Susan's home town of Blackburn

Patricia Snow, from Fort Walton Beach, Florida USA, wrote: "I thought Susan was adorable from the moment she said 'I'm from Blackburn, near Bathgate, West Lothian.'

"I love her accent. I love Scottish and Irish people, they have a rich heritage. And I learned from watching the Irish R.M. series and the Monarch of the Glen series, they have a lot of character!

"Susan is a very likeable down to earth person and I've enjoyed not only her singing but especially her interviews as well. She is very endearing.

"I wish her all the best and hope she is feeling rested soon. I'm so glad for her that she has such a nice family and very nice friends."

Claire Pugh said: "I admire Susan Boyle for getting on stage in the finals even though the media had put her through a rough time.

"Every time I hear her sing I get more enthused about her singing.

"I hope a CD will be forthcoming. I hope if she wants a career in music she will get it. If she decides that the limelight isn't for her I will support her decision. I think she will go far, if that is what she wants."

Penny Brown, from America, said: "I am a 60-year-old wife, mother, and grandmother.

"I just discovered Youtube thru a daughter of mine and saw Paul Potts win Britain's Got Talent just by chance and was hooked!

"Here in the US we love stories like Susan Boyle's. It gives us hope and keeps our dreams alive, especially now when times are hard and life uncertain.

"I was at the lowest point of my life when Susan touched my soul. I wish her a speedy recovery and can't wait for her to make her first album. When I am down, I play her clips on Youtube and I'am alright again. Thank You Susan."

Colin Arnold from New Zealand said: "I would like to start with bloody well done on your singing, just goes to show you, you came and you conquered all that there was around you, don't consider the dance group a challenge, it's just another dance group which will fade away.

"But you can last because you're special. Amanda loves you, you can see that, talk to her, but first get your but home and to your cat. You need r&r at home and then come out fighting again. Go you little beauty, go."
