Exhibition will display talent of local artists

AN exhibition of paintings by two local artists will start on Monday, July 13 in Bathgate’s Regal Theatre.

Some 16 works will be on show from Yvonne Hutchison and Linda Lincoln and can be viewed during the theatre’s opening hours.

Yvonne is a painter/printmaker exhibiting in art galleries across the UK. Her landscape paintings are acrylic and oil on canvas and with pigmented layers and textured surfaces and draw their inspiration from the Scottish Borders and Northern fells.

Linda is a self taught artist who likes to experiment with different media, and is currently working with printing techniques.

She loves colour, and this is reflected in all her work, recent exhibitions include the Pitlochry Gallery Association, Cambo Snowdrop Festival, the Gallery Coffee Bar, West Calder and Harburn Festival.
