Tools stolen after thieves target farm

FARM buildings were robbed of thousands of pounds of goods during a break-in last week.

The theft at Hatton House Farm in Kirknewton, took place sometime between 9pm on Thursday and midnight on Friday, and a quantity of tools worth around £2000 was stolen.

Electronic equipment was the target for thieves during a break in at a Livingston office.

Between 3.30pm on Sunday, June 21, and 8.30am the next day, the offices at Grampian Square, were broken into, and computers and mobile phones were stolen.

Would-be thieves broke into a school in Livingston earlier this week.

About 3.30am on Tuesday, Williamston Primary School, in Murieston, was broken into and offices were entered.

However, police say it’s not known if anything has been stolen during the incident.
