Livingston Designer Outlet hosts Jeans for Genes Day event

SHOPPERS at Livingston Designer Outlet will be able to get top style tips as part of national Jeans for Genes Day.

A ‘Jeans Genius’ will be on hand at the Gap store on the day of the event (Friday, October 2) and throughout Saturday and Sunday to offer customers guidance on picking out the perfect pair.

Customers can drop into the store on the day to book their session with the jeans shopper.

The outlet will also be supporting the national genetics research charity with a variety of fundraising activities over the coming weeks.

And on Jeans for Genes Day, McArthurGlen staff will be taking on the challenge of walking the equivalent of the West Highland Way (152km) on a treadmill by the Information Desk to raise funds.

In addition, shoppers can exchange a £1 donation to the charity for a 10 per cent discount card – valid at all shops within the outlet – until October 4.

Customers can also pick up the Fifi and the Flowertots official badges for a donation of £1.

Fiona continued: “Jeans for Genes is a great cause, and we’d encourage all of our shoppers to come down and help us raise some much-needed funds for the charity.”
