PRIMARY six pupils at Falla Hill Primary in Fauldhouse, have been learning about Fairtrade.
The class are focusing on this topic as part of the Acorn Award run by the Levenseat Trust.
The classroom is full of information about Fairtrade and the pupils have even designed comics as part of their work.
A visit to the local Scotmid allowed the children to see the variety of Fairtrade products available.
The class organised a very successful coffee morning for their families using only Fairtrade goods.
They had a stall set up selling Fairtrade goods provided by Rainbow Turtle, which was very popular with visitors and staff.
The coffee morning was a great success and a spokesperson for the school said that the project had allowed the pupils to learn about Fairtrade in a fun way, helping them to understand how we can help others around the world.
The spokesperson said: “The children are all responsible citizens and we are very proud of their achievements.”
