Art exhibition will provide boost for world charity

LIVINGSTON artist Joe Hawthorn will exhibit a selection of his original paintings and prints in Acredale House, Bathgate until Monday, October 19.

Joe will donate 20 per cent from the sale of all works to the charity Water Aid.

The Water Aid charity is a very deserving organisation which helps peoples throughout the world by providing clean healthy water.

Joe is presently exhibiting a painting in the prestigious Aspect Prize exhibition held in the Paisley Arts Institute while also working on new work for future exhibitions throughout the country.

Being a keen conservationist Joe has put together this exhibition which if successful would help Water Aid purchase water pumps, pipelines etc. in their fight to help the needy in countries less fortunate than ourselves.
