Police appeal after double break-ins to houses

ELECTRICAL equipment was stolen from a house in Bathgate last week.

Sometime between 9am and 5pm on Wednesday, September 30, a house in Kirk Road, Bathgate, was broken into and electrical items including a laptop, digital camera and games console were stolen.

A house was broken into in a West Lothian village last week.

Between 12.30pm and 5pm also on Wednesday, a secluded house in Kirknewton was broken into, the house was ransacked and jewellery worth over £300 was stolen.
