THIEVES caused thousands of pounds worth of damage when they trashed a house in Livingston.
Sometime between August and September, an unoccupied house in Deans South, was broken into.
The criminals caused extensive damage and stole a boiler unit and copper pipework from the property.
Police say the damage caused to the building by the robbers could amount to at least £20,000.

Police are also appealing for information after a spate of thefts and break-ins.
In the first incident, crooks smashed the window of a house in Meadowpark Road, Bathgate to try to get inside sometime between 10am and 1pm on Monday, October 5.
However, they didn’t manage to get inside the house and escaped empty-handed.

Hundreds of pounds worth of property was taken during a break-in last week.
Between noon and 2pm on Monday, October 5, a house in Violet Bank, Bathgate, was broken into and a laptop, jewellery and cash were stolen.

Power tools were the target for thieves when they broke into a business in West Calder.
Thieves forced their way into the Prentice Westwood Caravan Compound, between 8pm on Tuesday, October 6, and 8.40am on Wednesday, October 7, and stole a generator and Stihl saw.
