Spooky happenings for Hallowe’en at the zoo

THERE will be some spooky goings on at the Five Sisters Zoo in West Calder this Hallowe’en.

The popular visitor attraction is being transformed to offer people a frighteningly good time.

Special haunted tours of the facility and surrounding area are being organised by the owners of the zoo for Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31.

Kids and adults alike will be given a tour of the zoo as well as a tour of the woods where there may be one or two things that go bump in the night hanging around.

There will be also a children’s disco and prizes for the best fancy dress outfits.

Owner Brian Curran said: “There will be lots of fun and scares in store. Look out for ghosts and witches galore. It’s going to be the most exciting and frightening Hallowe’en show around.”

The events will start at 7pm and run until 10pm and are all-ticket affairs following the popularity of similar events in the past.

Tickets cost £7 for adults and £5 for children. For more information visit www.fivesisterszoo.co.uk.
