West Lothian pervert boss is jailed for two years

THE shamed boss of an entertainments agency who preyed on a teenager desperate to become a model, has been jailed for two years.

Pervert Glyn Davies, (50), took pornographic photos of the 17-year-old girl then sexually assaulted her, a court heard.

And after the shocked girl told police what had happened, a raid on his home at Herd Green, Knightsridge, uncovered a collection of hard core kiddie porn on Davies’ computer.

When former soldier Davies appeared for sentence at the High Court in Edinburgh, solicitor advocate Richard Goddard, defending, said Davies was now a ruined man.

The business he had worked in for 20 years “with some measure of success,” was no longer open to him.

At an earlier hearing, Judge Lord Brailsford heard Davies had previously been given a four month sentence for indecency with a child in Northern Ireland.

Advocate depute David Young, prosecuting, told how the 17-year-old girl had posted her name on a website for would-be models.

Davies sent her an e-mail offering a free test shoot.

He visited her home in Livingston where the teenager posed naked.

But when Davies touched her private parts she fled from the room.

Davies ran his own Livingston-based agency Lothian Variety.
