Homeless charity urgently needs staff

OPEN Door, the charity for homeless young people, are having difficulty recruiting relief staff for its emergency hostel and outreach services.

Director of Open Door Leslie Gregory explained: "We are offering a competitive package but we are not attracting applicants. We urgently need staff to help us with cover and we are particularly looking for people who can cover shifts, weekend and sleepover work.

"Experience is desirable but not essential so it might be an ideal opportunity for newly qualified people who are looking to gain experience."
