Night of the ghouls

GHOULISH characters have been stalking the corridors of Almond Valley Heritage Centre.

And the centre is set to mark hallowe’en with a special fright night tomorrow (Friday).

From 6 to 9pm, the centre in Livingston will present an evening of creepy games and activities for children and their families.

In the dark corners of the old mill and farm there are special ‘horrors’ to encounter on a trail of terror in search of a monster with the world’s most runny nose.

The ghost train will disappear into the inky blackness on a journey to the land of faceless creatures, whilst the tractor will take you on a jolly night-time ride around the dungheap of lost souls.

Meanwhile In the warmth of the museum there will be dooking for apples, nibbling of treacle scones and other traditional games and fun. Visitors are encouraged to come dressed to kill.

The centre’s night of fun follows its Spooky Happenings events which have run during October to keep kids entertained during their mid-term holiday.

Usual admission charges apply for tomorrow night’s event (adults £5, children £3.50), no advance booking is required, and further information can be obtained by phoning 01506 414957 or visiting www.almondvalley.co.uk
