CAT LOVERS throughout the West Lothian area are being reminded of events to help volunteers continue their work.
A fundraiser for Cats Protection West Lothian is being held on Saturday, November 21.
The prize bingo event at The Black Bull in Mid Calder will take place from 7.30pm.
Entry to the event costs £5, which covers the entry fee and book of tickets and everyone will be made very welcome.
Volunteers will also bring some of the cats in the charity’s care to the Christmas Fayre which is being held at Currie Community High School on Sunday, November 29.
They will be there from noon to 2.30pm and will be located in the school library.
This is a new venue for the branch's regular rehoming days and they are hoping it will prove to be just as popular as all those gone by.
There will be several furry felines there on the day and as always the volunteers will be on hand to answer any cat related questions.
Local people can also find out how to become a volunteer or about sponsoring one of the fostering pens.
There will also be CatsProtection merchandise on sale where local people will definitely find some lovely stocking fillers ideal for any cat lovers.
Volunteers are also set to host their own first Christmas Fayre on Saturday, December 12.
It is being held in the community hall on Marjoribanks Street in Bathgate and will run from 10am to 12.30pm.
There will be lots on offer on the day from Santa's Grotto, tombola, homebaking and Cats Protection Merchandise.
All monies raised from all of these events goes straight to helping all of the cats in care and cats who will be cared for in the future.
The charity receives no government funding so relies completely on the generosity of their supporters.
A spokesperson said that any donation or contribution to any of these events would be greatly appreciated.
If you need any more information or to get tickets for the bingo night please contact the branch on 0845 371 2719 or visit the website at www.cats-westlothian.org.uk
