Spooky evening as association holds first fundraising venture

THE Sunnydale Association — a newly constituted committee operating for the benefit of the Mayfield area in Armadale — held their first fundraising event recently at Tap O the Brae.

A variety of Hallowe’en-theme stalls were on display with an adult and children’s tombola, hamper raffle, guess the birthday, bric-a-brac, family quiz, home baking and a selection of fun games for children.

Committee member Stuart Findlay said: “It was an amazing family fun evening, we had fantastic support from local people resulting in the association raising over £500.”

The Sunnydale Association would like to take this opportunity to thank shop owners and local people whose donations contributed to making the evening a resounding success.
