A WEST Lothian housing association is helping to provide quality homes for people across the county.
Livingston-based Horizon Housing Association has joined the Link group of registered social landlords and social enterprises.
Link and Horizon will use their joint strength and experience to go on providing quality housing and to tackle wider neighbourhood issues.
Horizon’s expertise lies in meeting the housing needs of disabled people and the new partnership will continue to ensure that housing for disabled people is fully integrated in the community.
Frank Rochford, chairperson of Horizon Housing Association, said: “This is a very exciting time for Horizon.
“As a member of the Link group, we can better serve our existing customers and increase the volume and range of our activity.
“We look forward to growth and development and we will benefit from Link’s wide-ranging expertise, we particularly look forward to increasing the provision of housing for disabled people.”
Robbie Robertson, chairperson of Link Group, added: “We are very pleased to welcome Horizon into the Link group. Their membership and expertise will undoubtedly strengthen our position as a significant national service provider and ensure we are even better equipped to respond to the need for Registered Social Landlords to diversify in order to meet the economic, social and housing challenges of today and of the future.”
Horizon’s membership brings the number of subsidiaries in the Link group to six. The others are Larkfield Housing Association, Link Housing Association, LinkLiving, Linkwide and Link Homes.
