SUSAN Boyle said a big “thank you” to all her fans this week and wished them a happy Christmas.
The Courier was invited into her Blackburn home yesterday (Wednesday) where she proudly showed off her early Christmas present – a massive framed pictured of the album cover from her management team to celebrate selling a whopping four million copies in America.
Susan, dressed in jammies and dressing gown, told us she’s had a phenomenal year and her only New Year resolution was to “carry on with what I’m doing.”
Susan said the support she had received from her fans in West Lothian and beyond had been overwhelming and she looked forward to singing for them next year.
She also said she had been grateful for all the positive coverage she had received for the Courier over the past year.
Susan said: “I’m looking forward to having a quiet and normal Christmas.
“Next year will be very busy so it will be nice.
“I’ve felt very humbled by all the support I’ve received from people in the community and want to say thank you for all of that.
“I hope everybody has a lovely Christmas and a great New Year.”
Susan received a triple platinum disc for selling one million copies of her album during I Dreamed a Dream: The Susan Boyle Story, which aired on ITV on Sunday.
She was given the framed picture by her team at her home on Tuesday.
She said she was delighted, adding: “It’s massive, I don’t know where I’ll put it, I’ll have to clear a space for it.
“It’s really a lovely early Christmas present.”
