dogs trust new walkways
POOCHES in the care of Dogs Trust West Calder have gone barking mad for new facilities at the rehoming centre.
The improved facilities were unveiled recently at an official opening ceremony at the centre.
New covered walkways have been created at the Bentyhead centre to make it easier and more pleasant for the dogs to go for their walks - no matter what the weather conditions may be.
And people looking for a pet will also find the new covered paths a bonus while they walk round the centre in their search to give a dog a loving home.
The new improved facilities were officially opened by local MSP, Angela Constance, and Phillip Daubeny and Clarissa Baldwin OBE of Dogs Trust.
All three have praised the new facilities and the staff for the work of the West Calder centre in caring for stray dogs and finding them new caring homes throughout the West Lothian area.
