Inveralmond Community High pupils to hold prom fayre

PUPILS at Inveralmond Community High School in West Lothian are looking for people to come along and support their Prom Fayre which is taking place in January.

The Prom Committee are hoping to raise money for two charities — Teenage Cancer Trust and MacMillan Caner Support — at the event.

The Prom Fayre will be held at the school on Tuesday, January 19 starting at 7pm - and the organisers are hoping for a really good turnout from members of the local public.

The Fayre will take the format of a fashion show, with dresses by Katherine Hamilton and Butterflies and kilts by MacDonalds being modelled by sixth year students and teachers from the school.

Several fashion and health and beauty companies will also have stalls at the Fayre to promote their products.

These will include GHD, women’s dress and accessories company Butterflies, jewellers Frog Prince and Katherine Hamilton.

For having these stalls the companies will make a donation towards the charity fund.

In addition the Prom Committee has organised a raffle on the evening and have been provided with GHD Straighteners and hair products, a meal for two at a local restaurant plus various other items from businesses as prizes for the raffle.

Tickets for the event are priced at £3 for adults and £1.50 for children of primary school age.

Anyone interested in attending the event should contact the school for tickets and further information.
