Harvey the dog appeals for new home

AN intelligent and loyal dog is looking for a kind and loving new home in the West Lothian area.

Harvey is a four-year-old collie who is currently living at Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre in West Calder.

The staff at the centre say that Harvey is a very intelligent collie with bags of energy and lots of potential to be a really gfreat family pet.

He has strong working instincts and as such he needs to be on a lead if he is being walked in an area where he might meet dogs, joggers or cyclists.

And although Harvey is very playful and loving, enjoys car rides and can be left home alone for short periods, he hasn't been used to young children being in the house.

Animal welfare experts who have examined Harvey say that he is a loyal and brilliant dog who has found himself in need of a home through no fault of his own.

And they say with an experienced collie owner, he will be a perfect pet or indeed a working dog as he is energetic, intelligent and enthusiastic.

Harvey is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped and comes with insurance and free behavioural advice.
