Green is in fashion at Livingston Designer Outlet

GREEN has become the most fashionable colour at a West Lothian shopping centre.

This is because Livingston Designer Outlet have launched a series of initiatives to reduce the environmental impact – earning an ISO 14001 standard.

Over the last year the outlet has reduced waste to landfill by recycling 50 tonnes of food waste generated by the food tenants. The waste is incinerated to produce garden compost. They also recycled 200 tonnes of cardboard and 25 tonnes of coat hangers.
