A CAT charity are appealing to the people of West Lothian for support.
West Lothian Cat Protection will be holding their next rehoming day at the Newyearfield Farm in Ladywell, Livingston, on Saturday, March 6, from 1.30 to 4pm.
The usual events will be taking place, a tombola, Cats Protection merchandise and homebaking made by the volunteers themselves.
And of course the main attraction of the day will be the cats in the branch’s foster care who will be making an appearance throughout the event.
For example, people attending the day may see a lovely tortoiseshell girl named Loki.
She has been in the county branch’s care for some time and is yearning for her very own forever home with a loving owner in the county.
Loki is a very pretty one-year-old, who is still full of kitten fun.
She has lived with children before so would be happy to join a loving family who could spend lots of quality time with her.
Loki shares her foster home with other cats and loves to snuggle up to a fellow feline.
This means that a family with another cat would not pose any problems for her.
She has been fully vet checked, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, so she really is ready to go to her new home in the area.
Then there is also Lara, another lovely tortoiseshell girl of around eight months old.
Lara loves her play time and chasing toys around the room.
She adores human company and loves lots of kisses and cuddles .
Lara is looking for a loving family with a nice safe garden away from busy roads so that when she is ready she can go out and start to explore the outdoor world.
Lara will also have been fully vet checked, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped when she is rehomed to her new family.
If either of these lovely girls has pulled at the heartstrings then people are welcome to visit the branch website at www.cats-westlothian.org.uk where they can fill in an online form expressing interest.
The volunteers from the West Lothian branch will then be in touch to arrange for the home visit.
The volunteers aim to get in touch within 72 hours.
People can also gain further information by calling the local branch on 0845 371 2719.
