East Calder unveils gala queen

EAST Calder and Wilkieston Childrens Gala will have a gala queen this year after an absence of 80 years.

Sarah Kinghorn was picked by MSP Angela Constance at a special dance held in East Calder Bowling Club.

Queen Elect Sarah is 11 -years-old, attends East Calder Primary School and enjoys swimming, cycling, highland dancing and is a member of the 1st East Calder Guide Company.
