A PLAYFUL young dog is looking for a new home in West Lothian with caring owners.
Jake is a five-year-old Jack Russell Terrier currently at Dogs Trust in West Calder.
Like most Jack Russells, he is full of energy, is always up to mischief and will certainly keep his owners on their toes.
Jake loves being out and about exploring either in the garden or out on walks.
He adores his toys, likes to play and also loves to sunbathe in the garden on sunny days.
Jake is house trained and travels well in the car, however, he can be very worried by strangers, young children and loud noises.
He is looking for a quiet, adult-only home where there will be few visitors.
And his new owner would need to understand that he needs his own space and time to settle.
Jake can be a bit timid at first but once her gets to know you he is very affectionate and loves to get tummy rubs.
Jake loves the company of people so wants a new owner who is at home most of the day.
But like most terriers, he does not like the company of other animals so he is looking to be the only dog in the home.
Jake is fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped and comes with insurance and free behavioural advice.
