ANIMAL welfare experts are still appealing for a new home for Holly a three-year-old female cross breed currently at Dogs Trust in West Calder.
They say that Holly has a very sweet nature and has a playful personality.
She is an active, super-intelligent girl who loves to play all day long and loves squeaky toys and carrying them around with her.
She also loves tug games, is great at fetch and loves to get you involved in the game.
However, Holly can be wary new people, in particular men, so she is looking for an experienced owner to help build her confidence.
But once she knows you, she is very affectionate, loving and friendly and loves getting her belly tickled and scratched behind the ears.
Holly loves being with people and finds it difficult to be on her own so she is looking for a home where somebody will be at home with her for most of the day.
She can also be a bit protective of her family, tends to guard the house and garden and sometimes acts defensively when people approach.
But Holly is great to take for a walk, always pays attention to you and enjoys being outside.
She loves to explore and enjoys going for trips in the car and is a fantastic, well behaved traveller.
Holly could live with another dog but may be better of as the only dog in the home.
At the end of the day, Holly loves nothing more than to snuggle up to you after a long day.
She desperately tries to please you and is always trying to cheer you up if you’re feeling a bit down.
Holly is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped and comes with insurance and free behavioural advice.
