DOG-LOVERS looking for a new canine companion are being urged to think of offering a new home to a friendly young dog.
Staff at Dogs Trust in West Calder are appealing for a new home for Ollie, a two-year-old crossbreed.
Despite numerous appeals, no-one has offered him a home despite the fact that his carers say he is a great dog.
Staff at the centre say he is a wonderful dog who loves to be very busy and active, is happy to meet new people and adores attention.
Ollie just loves people and wants someone to play fetch with him.
He is an energetic boy who can always put a smile on your face, is house trained, travels well in the car and enjoys trips out.
And he is a clean wee dog who even avoids walking through puddles if he can.
However, Ollie would prefer to have someone at home most of the day to share his adventures with.
He has also attended basic training classes at the centre and will happily show off his skills for a tasty treat.
Ollie is fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped and comes with insurance and free behavioural advice.
If you can offer Ollie or any of the other 60 dogs at the centre a home, contact Dogs Trust direct on 01506 873459.
All dogs detailed may have had several homes and their history refers to none specifically.
Dogs Trust always have good homes for puppies. Call the centre if you need help with a litter.
