Rugby stars of future go through paces
THE next generation of West Lothian rugby stars were put through their paces last week as Livingston Rugby Club hosted their annual summer camp at Almond Park, Craigshill.
The camp ran from Monday, July 18, through until Friday, July 22, and attracted an excellent turnout of youngsters.
Aged between eight to 14, the youngsters competed in a number of fun training exercises, some touch rugby and also passing games, with other drills included specifically designed to develop skills.
Mike Brown, of Livingston Rugby Club, said: “The week went really well, with a good number of youngsters coming along. They all seemed really keen rugby fans and clearly loved the game.”
