THE action was hotting up at Deer Park this week as the Deer Park Masters reached the final straight.
Almost 100 four-ball teams have been crossing clubs on the picturesque fairways of the Livingston course this week in the annual two-day pro-am competition.
The action teed off on Tuesday and was due to finish last night (Wednesday) with a host of golfers still in the hunt for the top prizes.
A host of golfers of all abilities – professionals and amateurs – have ensured the 2009 Deer Park Masters has been another tournament to remember.
As the Courier went to press yesterday Robert Arnott of Bishopbriggs was leading the pack at the top of the leaderboard following a round of 67.
But just a shot behind after shooting a 68 was Ian Colquhoun of Dundonald Links.
