GOLFERS in West Lothian have been urged to head for Deer Park next Thursday (August 20) to try and win a trip to the world’s golfing nirvana.
Thailand is coming to West Lothian next week when Deer Park Golf and Country Club hosts a spectacular Thai Day.
Up for grabs on the day is a star prize of a 10-day trip to Thailand as well as an all inclusive break in Tenerife and an Amsterdam mini-cruise.
As if that isn’t enough then a brand-new car, rumoured to be a Mercedes, is also up for grabs among other prizes to be confirmed.
But it isn’t just for golfers as non-players an also take advantage of the Thai day where Thai massages will also be on offer in tandem with full use of the leisure facilities while non-players will also get the chance to win the prizes.
On the course the action gets underway at 10am with separate groups teeing off on the 1st and 10th holes.
A Thai breakfast will set the tone for a fun-filled day while there is also a full Thai dinner in the evening before the prizegiving.
And joining the occasion will be the Thai Ambassador Kitty Wasinondh who is set to make his first-ever trip to Scotland for the event.
The Thai tourist authority will also be on site for what looks set to be a fantastic occasion.
Over 100 golfers have already signed up for the Thai Day but there are still places available for golfers with team prices just £240 – £60 per person.
