Charity boosted by Burns’ skills

PGA TEACHING professional David Burns of the Kingsfield Golf Centre is giving free golf lessons to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Relief Fund next Friday, September 25.

David has teamed up with the Linlithgow club’s proprietor Robert Arkley to provide lessons free of charge throughout the day with all cash collected being given going to the cancer relief charity.

Those who come in for a lesson will have to donate at least a fiver to this worthwhile cause and be given 50 balls to hit, courtesy of management at Kingsfield.

David will coach each learner personally for 15 minutes.

Then each pupil will be free to hit the remaining balls not used in the lesson once he has had his game sorted out.

The lessons are for anybody regardless of age or experience with the proviso that they donate to the relief fund.
