Golf day for dementia

GOLFERS can hit the fairway, and make a difference, later this month as part of a special golf day for sufferers of dementia.

The golf day is taking place at Uphall Golf Club on July 28 in a bid to raise awareness and have a great day on the greens.

Prizes and tee times are still available for the day, which will be played over 16 holes and will go under stableford conditions.

It begins with a shotgun start at 9.15am and then at 1.30pm and there will also be target golf and a putting competition.
