THE British Youth Commonwealth team boxer and Whitburn Academy pupil Robbie McKee received a cheque this week from some of his generous classmates.
Members of Whitburn Academy’s XL group have been working hard to raise money to aid the progress of their talented fellow pupil.
His classmates raised the sum — which could rise to £200 — after several initiatives, including a raffle and coffee morning.
The cash boost will be used by the Fauldhouse Boxing Club’s rising prospect to help with the travel costs in attending Scottish squad camps, sparring camps and physiotherapy.
Robbie would also like to thank two of his personal sponsors, Robbie Prentice of Prentice Westwood and Specialized Security of Ingliston, for their very generous sponsorship.
