Wrestling event puts belts at stake

THE Scottish School of Wrestling returns to West Lothian next month when Redemption comes to Whitburn.

Whitburn Academy is set to play host to a slamming grapple event in which several of the division’s top titles will be on the line.

There has been eager anticipation of the annual open-invitation over-the-top-rope Rumble, which involves fan favourites like Muzlem, Dark Angel, The UK Kid and Ron Jeremi.

And with the prestige of outlasting the rest of the locker room, the winner of the Rumble will also get a chance to step between the ropes with SSW Worlds Champion Chris Bang in the main event.

There will also be a tag-team title table match in which champs Damage Inc put their belts and their bodies on the line against as-yet unnamed opponents.

And for younger fans, the great man himself, Father Christmas, is heavily rumoured to be making a special appearance.

Redemption promises to be a show to remember with more matches to be announced nearer the time. Doors open at 6.30pm with the first bell at 7pm.

Tickets cost £5 for children, £10 for adults and family tickets (two Adults, two children under-16) are priced just £20.
