FAULDHOUSE Boxing Club’s Robbie McKee’s rapid rise continued this weekend when he powered his way to the Eastern District Senior Championship.
It was the teenager’s first attempt at landing the prestigious senior title and he did so with some aplomb.
He took the light-welterweight title in convincing style, beating Eddie Finney from Kingdom Boxing Club in Fife, 24-12.
And fellow Fauldhouse BC fighter Michael McGregor was also in action but he finished runner-up in the middleweight title hunt.
McGregor finished just a single point behind Tommy Philliben from Leith Boxing Club who won 7-6.
