Brian clinches Scottish martial arts double

A LOCAL martial arts student has proved he is the best in the land.

For Harthill Karate Club’s Brian Morris was in stunning form recently as he won the Scottish Grand Prix Championships.

His win is all the more impressive considering the championships are decided over four different events.

To complete an excellent double, Brian was also runner-up at the Scottish Allstyle Championships at Meadowbank.

Anyone interested in taking up karate can come along and try it out at Harthill Karate Club at the Community Centre at 7pm on a Monday, Tuesday or Friday.
