THE curtain will fall on another sensational Scottish School of Wrestling (SSW) ring year on Saturday with the final wrestling event of the calendar year taking place in West Lothian.
The Scottish School of Wrestling return to Whitburn this weekend to showcase their much anticipated Redemption event.
And it will prove to be a fabulous night for all grappling fans in the county.
Old scores are sure to be settled with new wounds also bound to be opened up as the top grapplers in the brand putting their belts and their bodies on the line for guts and glory.
At the top of the bill is the annual open-invitation over-the-top-rope Rumble.
The rules are simple and is a general free for all which sees participants eliminated when they are thrown over the top rope of the ring and out to the arena floor.
Fan favourites Muzlem, Dark Angel, Ben Jeremi and his brother Ron Jeremi have been confirmed as part of the rumble while GI Joe, Jimi Infinity and Exodus have also pledged to make an impact.
In addition to the prestigious of outlasting the rest of the SSW’s stars, the winner of the rumble also gets the chance to scrap for the SSW Worlds Title later in the same night so current champ Chris Bang will be watching closely.
The tag team titles are on the line in a body crunching table match as Damage Inc try to defend the gold in a gruelling gauntlet match against three other as yet unnamed teams.
Other matches on the bill include Dark Angel against Jimi Infinity.
The former has been waiting for some time to get his hands on the devious Infinity who will have the monstrous Exodus in his corner.
And the great man himself, Father Christmas, will be in West Lothain this weekend and will be treating some of the younger fans to sweets and presents.
Redemption promises to be a show to remember with more matches to be announced.
The doors open at 6.30pm with the first bell at 7pm.
Tickets cost £5 for children, £10 for adults and family tickets (two Adults, two children under-16) are priced just £20.
Every SSW show is filmed, so local people are urged to come and support their local promotion, West Lothian’s own SSW.
