FOR the first time this year the UK Kid will be putting his belt and his body on the line in Scotland.
The SPWO UK Champion has confirmed he will step between the ropes to face ‘The Natural’ Andrew Chappell at Whitburn Academy wrestling bill on Saturday, March 28.
A successful title defence in the famous Portsmouth Guild Hall, where he pinned former WWE European and Intercontinental Champion D'Lo Brown, has set the UK Kid up nicely for this match.
And having been trained by the legendary Shawn Michaels he is more than confident of leaving West Lothian with his title gold still wrapped around his waist.
But Chappell will have his ‘Legend’ team mates in his corner and reckons he can pull off an upset against the hugely experienced grappler.
The eagerly anticipated bout is the headline match at the Muscle and Mayhem event which hits Whitburn Academy later this month.
It is the first SSW production of 2009 and they look set to start their year with a bang after revealing details of six other huge matches.
Muzlem’s ring career is on the line after the SSW favourite staked everything for a title shot against SSW Champion Chris Bang.
It’s all or nothing for Muzlem who will walk out of Whitburn as champion or on the wrestling scrapheap.
A grudge match has been confirmed between the 300lb Dark Angel and Exodus. And in a tangent to this battle Jimi has pledge to reveal a shocking secret on the big screen during the bout.
The Auld Enemy will lock horns as Scottish Ben N Jeremi squares off against English wrestler Robbie Everest.
Tony Sensation’s recent exploits in the squared circle have left him on the wrong end of 0-13 losing streak. He has insisted Muscle and Mayhem will see a change of fortunes as he steps into the ring with a female opponent.
There are more matches to be added while a Battle Royal has also been confirmed with participants to be revealed later.
So wrestling fans should book their tickets now to avoid disappointment.
Tickets for Muscle and Mayhem are available from Topsport in Bathgate or by calling the box office on 07788594699.
