Bathgate Royal bowl over the opposition

THE Royal British Legion Scotland Edinburgh and Lothian area triple bowls competition has been won by Bathgate Royal Legion. The club’s winning team of J Gauld, Chick Cannon and J Robertson will now represent the area at the national competition.

The doubles competition was won by H Carruthers and W Gauld. The runners-up were Benny Wilson and J Gauld.
